This blog chronicles the activities of my semi-intensive English as a Second Language class at the University of Maryland College Park.

I will be traveling to Charlotte, North Carolina this weekend and will be afk (=away from my keyboard) until sometime on Monday, so if you send me an email, don't be alarmed if I don't respond immediately. See you on Tuesday!
I have been a Lecturer in English as a Second Language at the University of Maryland, College Park (Maryland English Institute) since 1981. Since beginning my ESL career in France in 1971, I have taught primarily in higher education settings. I also enjoy working with adults from the immigrant community.
I live in Gaithersburg, Maryland with my husband Christoforos and our daughter, Vicki.
